I run Backup Exec 10d and I have restored an exchange server but not a
whole machine from scratch before. I want to practice this so if I
have a good backup of a workstation and I want to restore that backup
to the same workstation but a new hard drive how do i direct the files
to that workstation if it is on the network and no OS and the same
IP? Thanks for your help. |

You need to do a remote restore. Basically restore the OS using the same
computer name. Then install the Remote Agent. Then restore the backup of the
hard drive and Shadow Copy Components. See
